Skills of the Trade (what I use most when analyzing data):
Other skillsets:
Below you can look through some of my machine learning and business analyst projects.
Some of my favorite projects are when I get to add in visual elements and use Tableau!
Cluster Features: Predicting Property Value for Z-estimate scores
To improve Zillow's current property value predictions model, I looked into some unstructured ML methods of cluster methods to see if by clustering any of the key drivers that correlated to logerror, I could then create a new model that would beat baseline.
Classifying Drivers of Customer Churn
In this project I explored and hypothesis tested the Telco dataset to find any relations between different Telco customer demographics and churn.
I constructed a ML classification model that accurately predicted Telco's customer churn by 81%.
Zodiac Prediction Model
This project is an interest project, taking the GSS participant responses and comparing their zodiac responses to their other survey answers to see if a Classification Model can accurately predict their Zodiac sign/birth month.
Take the Shot or Not: NBA prediction model of 3pt Shots
Our team took the 2021-22 NBA data and found key drivers of when a player should take the 3point shot or not.
Linux NLP project: Grip Linux Count
Our team scraped the top 3,300 most-forked Linux Github repositories (as of July 20, 2022) to determine what are the top programming languages being used on Linux Github projects. After finding the top languages being used for each Github repo, we then took the words/wording within the README sections of the repos to see if we could build a model that could predict what programming language was used; solely based on the README content and text.
Anomaly Project: Curriculum Access Analysis
Our team took the lead as Data Analysts for the CodeUp staff. We had been tasked to answer several questions leadership will speak on at an upcoming board meeting. In addition to the questions found in our project, we used Anomaly Detection methodologies to answer the questions. The data source is from the curriculum_logs MySql CodeUp database.
---Take the Shot or Not: Players dashboard from capstone project
This NBA player dashboard can give players and coaches insight into better ways each of their 3point shots are best made and how a player can better train on these types of shots.
Green Destinations Attrition dashboard
This dashboard is to give the CEO of Green Destinations insight into the attrition numbers of their employees. This dashboard breaks down possible variables that could be contributing to attrition, such as pay scale, years at company, age, etc.
